Nail Trims in West Branch, MI

The Importance of Nail Trims

Keeping your pet’s nails appropriately trimmed is a very important part of their overall care. Overgrown nails can lead to mobility problems and increase the risk of trauma to the nails.

If your pet is typically nervous for nail trims, our team is available to discuss training and behavior modification techniques, provide resources,  and recommend medication options when necessary.  Just like any other routine care procedure (think grooming or administering vaccines) we do not want this experience to be a stressful one – for you or for them!

Resources

Nail trimming is something that can be performed at home! Because this is where your pet is most comfortable, learning to do this at home can alleviate some of the stress that is often associated with nail trims. We have provided resources to help you with performing nail trims safely at home, including videos and website links.
