  • Did you know that we can create a hospice or palliative care plan for your pet? This plan focuses on the comfort and quality of life of your pet, instead of curing their disease or illness. We will discuss what options are available for you, your family and your pet- to help enhance their life at the end stage.

  • Have you been noticing changes with your pet that are difficult to pinpoint, but you know aren’t “normal”? Have you been managing a chronic disease and they no longer seem to be responding to their treatment? Has your pet reached a new phase of life, and you have questions about what this phase will look like for you and for them? These are very common questions, and they do not have to go unanswered! We have specific appointments to help you every step of the way- we will discuss what options there are to improve their quality of life and educate you on how you can better assess them at home. We may also help you determine that the best option for them is to proceed with a painless euthanasia on that day. You are not alone in making this difficult decision.

  • We have a dedicated suite in our clinic for a private goodbye, ensuring comfort and dignity for your pet. Our euthanasia visits typically last about an hour, giving you and your pet unhurried time together. Our medical team will take time to listen, answer questions, and walk you through every step with care. You’ll be asked to sign a consent form, which also includes your aftercare preferences. The process begins with a calming sedative, gently given in the muscle of your pet's back end area. As it takes effect, your pet will become relaxed and peacefully fall into a deep sleep. When they are fully at rest, the veterinarian will administer the final medication to help them pass gently and without pain.

    In-Home Euthanasia
We offer in-home euthanasia for existing clients for a peaceful farewell in familiar surroundings. Please contact us for more information on this service.
