Sarah Gaudard Licensed Veterinary Technician

Sarah has been a vital part of the CVC team since 2018. She chose veterinary medicine because, in her own words, “dogs are better than people!” Known in the clinic as our “super duper strong” phlebotomist, Sarah’s hidden talent is competitive weightlifting. While she jokingly identifies as a “villain” in the superhero world, her dedication to her patients is all hero. A true night owl, Sarah’s first pet was named Ziggy, and if she could only care for one species for the rest of her life, it would definitely be dogs. You might catch her listening to “WAP” on the radio, a nod to the fun-loving personality she’s had since her very first job as a vet assistant.

Sarah was born and raised in Houghton Lake, Michigan. She attended Alpena Community College on a volleyball scholarship, then finished schooling and licensing to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Baker College in Cadillac. She loves spending summers out on the lake and visiting different wineries or restaurants. Sarah is a lover of all food (besides fish). Sarah is married to Pat, and together they have Sutton and Maxwell!

Sarah says that her favorite parts about working at CVC are the atmosphere and the food! She believes that respect and kindness are values that help drive her work and personal life. Sarah’s family includes Dutch, a Stabyhoun. Sarah provides great care for CVC patients; she is very motivated by helping our patients live happy, healthy lives.
