Kelly Bernert Licensed Veterinary Technician

Kelly has been with CVC since June 2023. She is motivated by a simple and pure love for working with animals and helping others. She is a morning early bird who wishes her exam room superpower was “persuasion”—specifically, getting everyone to follow the best health recommendations for their pets! Her first pet was named Bambi, and today her home is shared with Daphne and Myles, who love to watch the world go by from the window. Kelly’s very first job was delivering the Detroit News, and she carries that same dedicated “Superhero” spirit into the clinic every day. Kelly loves a good concert, fishing, and refurbishing and “upcycling” old furniture.

Dr Lucas says… Kelly is a poodle. And no, not just because of her magnificent curls! Kelly is quiet and smart, she’s always observing and learning and figuring out how to do a job better. Kelly has a special quality where she instinctively knows how to alleviate a patient’s pain or distress. She also has the experience to be able to answer any question a pet owner has, often alleviating their stress as well.
