Erin Veitengruber Technician Assistant

Erin joined CVC in July 2022, carrying on a deep love for animals that she inherited from her mother. She is our resident “fastest nail trimmer” and has a passion for teaching dogs new things. Erin is a night owl who dreams of visiting Hogwarts and is constantly amazed by the “pet trick” of her own dog finding lost people. Her journey with animals started early with her very first pet, a donkey named Tara.

Erin provides CVC with a great amount of experience working with pets. Erin has quite the furry family at home as well! She most appreciates CVC’s core value of Compassion and would love the world to provide more access to service dogs for those in need, especially PTSD dogs for veterans. Daily, she loves getting to see the amazing bonds that pets and their owners show off while visiting CVC. In her time outside of work, Erin loves to take part in outdoor summer activities, spend time with the horses all while enjoying the family home she’s lived in since she was 1 year old. “ALL THE PASTA” is one of Erin’s favorite lines!

Dr Lucas says… Erin is everyone’s favorite type of dog- a mutt… I mean a mixed breed. Erin has a combination of all the best qualities of all the breeds, she is reliable, makes us laugh, she is motivated to do a good job, whether a treat is involved or not! We have not found a task that Erin won’t do. Erin is the first one the technicians or doctors call when they need a helping hand; she never says no, and she is always smiling, even when there is poop involved.
