Let me start off by saying, I cannot believe a full year has gone by since we officially opened our doors! To say time flies is an understatement. It has been a year of growth, challenges, trials, and tribulations. We have all laughed and cried… sometimes laughed until we cried!
CVC basically started on a piece of paper… I would jot down notes about what I would have in my “dream” practice. What services would we offer? What would it look like on the inside? What would we offer to set us apart from the other well-established practices in our area? What kind of environment would it be for the people who worked there? How would I be inspired each and every day?
Slowly but surely these notes started to become a reality. And what I’ve found to be particularly awesome is how my team believes in my vision as much as I do. They have found ways to make the pieces fit together when I couldn’t quite figure it out on my own. They love and respect animals just as much as I do and they understand the role our pets play in our lives and our families. Practicing high-quality medicine and unparalleled service is what motivates them as well. I am in awe of my team and how they have helped make my vision of CVC a reality. I am reminded daily how special they are, how special our practice is, and our patients are.
I will admit- creating our Mission Statement proved a bit challenging for me. I struggled with how to make these statements impactful and true to what and who we are. I hope when you read them, it resonates with you like it does to us because that is what it comes down to: healthy and happy pets, high-quality medicine, education and personalized care. Information, techniques, medications are constantly changing in veterinary medicine and we will be changing with them- however, this mission is our backbone and it will remain constant.

Our mission is to provide our patients, clients and the community with progressive, high quality veterinary medical treatment, unparalleled service, and personalized patient care. We strive to promote the human-animal bond by improving the quality of the life of your furry family member while serving and educating our clients to make each visit enjoyable, stress-free, educational, and beneficial to both you and your pet.
And now I need to thank YOU. Our clients! Our patients don’t walk in here on their own, they rely on you! And we rely on you and your faith in us. Thank you for believing in us, especially through some of our growing pains. I hope you understand how much you and your furry family members mean to us. We promise to help you in any way we can through all of the stages of your pet’s life.

This past weekend we took some quality family time at Zehnder’s Splash Village to celebrate our first year at CVC. We had a blast with our families, discussed what about CVC excites us the most, and just enjoyed being together “off the clock”. We are all beyond excited for the future! Thank you for enjoying the ride with us.
